Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 9/11/2026
Inquest - Officers responded to a report of an elderly individual found deceased.
Mental Health Welfare Check - Officer responded to the scene for an individual who called 988 stating they were suicidal.
Public Intox - Officer responded to a subject possibly overdosing by the dumpster. Due to the level of intoxication, the subject was placed in custody for Public Intoxication.
Criminal Trespass - Officers called to scene for an individual who managers stated had come to the facility and they believed had a weapon with them. Ultimately the individual was CT’d, no criminal offence.
Disturbance - Subject believed they were being overcharged .50 cents for a fuel purchase. Ultimately the receipt and the fuel pumps had the same amount and officers explained that any discrepancies were possibly from the credit card company’s charging a fee.
DWI - Officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon contacting the driver, officers conducted a DWI investigation. The individual was placed in custody for DWI 3rd or more.
Disturbance – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between ex’s about school and sports equipment.
Hit and Run - A tractor/trailer collided with another parked tractor/trailer in the parking lot. The damage was discovered in the morning when the victim returned to the truck. Surveillance video captured the collision, and the fleeing tractor/trailer was easily identified.
