Woman drowns in Lake Tyler

Tyler—The Tyler Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting a possible drowning at Lake Tyler on Sunday, June 7, at approximately 4:44 p.m.

While emergency responders were enroute, emergency communications personnel provided CPR instructions. A Texas Game Warden arrived at approximately 4:49 p.m. and assisted with CPR.

The female was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. She has been identified as Shelly Snow, a 35-year-old female from Whitehouse. 

This case remains under investigation by the Tyler Police Department.
