Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 5/1/2026

Warrant Service–Officers initiated a traffic stop on an individual who was wanted for criminal mischief. Individual was taken to jail without further incident.

DWI–An officer located a suspicious vehicle. When the officer approached, the officer noticed the individual appeared to be intoxicated. The individual completed SFSTs and was taken to jail without further incident.

Disorderly Conduct–RP advised of a road rage incident where the driver pulled a handgun and pointed it at them and cussed at them. 

Warrant Service–A traffic stop resulted in an individual being wanted for a parole violation. The individual was taken to jail without further incident.

Accidental Discharge–Officers responded to a report of an accidental discharge of a firearm. The resident stated they did not know the handgun still had a round chambered and pulled the trigger as they were unholstering. The bullet went through a wall and a bathroom door, landing in the bathtub. 

Welfare Check–Officers responded to a welfare check on an individual who was reported to be heavily intoxicated, causing them to hear and see things.
