Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 4/24/2026

Theft-Officers were dispatched for a theft that had just occurred. A suspect wearing a mask, possibly a bandana, leaned over the counter and stole several bottles items valued at 49.99 each and fled on foot.

Criminal Mischief-Officers responded to a possible criminal mischief. No one lives in the house full-time, and it is being looked after by the elderly owner’s family members while the owner is residing in a nursing home. The family reported a hole through the glass of the rear sliding glass. Upon investigation, it seemed likely that a rock had been thrown from the freshly mowed yard adjacent to the home.
