Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 2/20/2026

THREATS-An individual was arguing about picking up medication, has cuts on face and neck but would not say how the wounds were obtained. The individual declined medical assistance and PD assistance. Resources shared with parties, no offense occurred, scene cleared.

FAMILY VIOLENCE-RP requested officer at location, advised individual hit RP. Individual received medical clearance and was transported to Smith County jail.

DWI-RP advised a vehicle is driving with hazards on and is all over the road. RP thinks the driver may be intoxicated. The vehicle was located and driver was taken to jail for DWI 

INQUEST-RP Police were advised that individual was unresponsive, individual was found deceased by roommate.

BURG IN PROGRESS-RP observed via security cameras an individual stealing cable out of a storage shed. The individual was located and taken to jail without incident.
