Weekly Brief – Week ending 02/13/2026

Poss of Marijuana-During a traffic stop, a probable cause search yielded marijuana, paraphernalia and a firearm. The individual was taken to jail without incident.  

City Ordinance Violation-A subject was walking in the roadway asking for donations, the individual was advised to get a permit from the city and move out of the roadway.

Warrant Service-Police met with an individual with 2 felony warrants. The warrants were confirmed with additional on-sight charges for theft. 

Warrant Service-An individual with active warrants located and taken to jail without incident.

Fraud-A company was scammed out of money via cryptocurrency deposits.

Inquest-An individual located deceased.

Theft-AP advised there was an individual in their office who was under ringing items. The individual was issued a CT and taken to jail without further incident.

Fraud-An individual was scammed out of money via phone call and cash withdrawals from their local bank account. The individual was instructed to withdraw money and hand it to “the FBI” using a code word for the exchange of money.
