Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 12/19/2025

PUBLIC SERVICE-RP came to the PD to for options because another individual in the residence has allowed someone who is CT’d to come back to the residence for the holidays.

FMFR TOW-Vehicle towed for no insurance and multiple FMFR convictions.

ASSIST SCSO-SCSO called requesting an officer to assist with a Burg in Progress. Officers arrived and cleared the home to find no one inside.  

ABANDONED VEHICLE-A vehicle was tagged with an abandoned vehicle sticker.

INQUEST/SUICIDE-RP advised management went to the room and found the occupant deceased. Inquest performed, cleared as a suicide.  

POSS DRUG PARA-During a traffic stop, officers encountered odor of weed coming from vehicle. Citation for PDP.

FMFR TOW-Veh reg is expired along with no insurance, driver DL expired. Vehicle was towed due to Totality of Circumstance. 

WELFARE CHECK-RP called wanting officers to check on an individual who no call/no showed at work today which is unlike them. Officer arrived and beat on the door, got no answer. Janitor unlocked the door and contact with individual was made. Individual is deaf and hearing aids fell out overnight. 

THEFT-RP called stating that they parked their electric trike by the front door and upon their return, the trike had been stolen.

THEFT-AP called in an individual caught shoplifting $192.70 worth of merch. 

WELFARE CHECK-RP called to advised they pumped gas and only pay with cash. There was no one at the store to take the money but everything was open. Officers arrived to find the clerk asleep in their vehicle, stated they got sick and called their boss.
