Lindale Police Report ending 10/10/2025

Assist EMS-RP requested police assistance with a subject who was manic, homicidal and suicidal. 

Damage to Prop-Individual wanted to report and prosecute neighbor for killing their plant. 

Assist SCSO-Individual had called stating they had slit their wrists. The individual was intoxicated and had superficial scratches on their wrist. 

Sus Person-Officers arrived and found an individual at the stop sign who was dropped off to sell solar panels (at 8:46 pm!) and was left behind. Subject was transported to area so a ride would pick them up. 

Mental Health-Neighbors called because an individual was punching walls and kicking the door. When officers arrived, the individual calmed down and said they would stop.

Mental Health-Neighbors called back due to kicking and punching walls again. The individual was calm again when the officers arrived. 

Welfare-RP advised the individual’s van was there, but they could not make contact. Officers rang the bell and waited, the owner answered and said they were fine.

Disturbance-RP called because two individuals were arguing, one was banging on the doors and screaming. The parties were separated and informed how to proceed with gathering additional property.

Theft-Loss Prevention called for a suspect attempting to leave with a cart full of items. The individual explained they were having medical problems and needed to sit down and eat a snack - EMS responded and found blood sugar was dangerously high, along with very high blood pressure.

Warrant Service-During a traffic stop, the driver was found to have an active warrant issued by DPS. 

Welfare Concern-Staff called to report a disgruntled and intoxicated patient had walked out from the facility and could not be located. Officers were able to locate the subject nearby in a neighborhood and transported the subject back to the facility and returned into the care of the staff. 

Stolen Vehicle-Vehicle was located and stopped. The registered owner of the car was found to be the driver who stated they had located their own vehicle after reporting it stolen - realizing they parked the car in a different parking lot than they thought. 

Mental Health-The same individual had another episode and was banging on walls again. PD responded and told the individual to stop.

National Night Out-Darden Park: National Night Out was a big success with estimated attendance of over 1,500-2,000 people and a lot of positive feedback from attendees.
