Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 10/3/2025

RP = Reporting Party FMFR = Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility AP = Asset Protection MVA = Motor Vehicle Accident

ASSIST EMS- EMS stating that individual called requesting an ambulance for not doing well and needs help, starting to see things.

FMFR TOW- Traffic stop. Driver could not provide insurance. 

WARRANT SERVICE - Traffic stop and the individual was wanted - arrested and taken to jail without incident.

WELFARE CHECK- Several 911 calls from a resident regarding another individual being transferred from the facility but the nurses will not tell where they were transported to.

PDP- Traffic stop and individual was found to be in possession of small amount of marijuana which was seized and the individual was issued tickets.

WELFARE CONCERN- RP called regarding an individual out front talking to themselves and attempting to step in the road in front of cars.  

ASSIST SCSO/ FIRESTATION- Assisting Lindale Fire with a baby that was brought there that had been bitten in the face by a dog.

ASSIST SCSO- Requested an officer assist a deputy at this location due to an individual who is intoxicated that has barricaded inside the home.

ACCIDENT- 2 vehicle MVA with one vehicle taking a ride of its life, launched over the guardrail, down the embankment, across both Eastbound Lanes and coming to a rest in the center median.  Driver sustained minor injuries.

Warrant Service- Traffic stop turned warrant service. 

ACCIDENT-3 car MVA with witnesses claiming a vehicle was flying down the center lane and struck one vehicle and scraped another vehicle. One person was transported to the hospital. 

Assault-A heavily intoxicated individual, began berating another customer by pushing and poking in the chest. The confrontation separates and the individual is told to leave but starts arguing with the person who had been tasked with asking him to leave. The individual begins shoving and causing a commotion. Then starts swinging fists wildly. In the process, strikes a bartender in the face. Arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury. 

Accident- Single car MVA. The driver states they fell asleep while driving and crossed over the lanes, across the driveway of a bank, into the grass, through the retaining wall flowerbed and settled in the ditch. Individual had no signs of intoxication but did have signs of a concussion. Refused EMS. 

Assist SCSO- A rolling disturbance resulted in pulling the keys out of the ignition of the car and grabbing purse, keys and phone and taking off on foot. Subject was located at the end of the street and taken back to the scene. Parties separated and one stayed at a hotel for the night. 

Assist EMS-RP called because they found their spouse unresponsive after not feeling well. When Fire and EMS arrived, CPR began. The individual had a pulse and was beginning to breathe. Transported to hospital for further evaluation and care. 

Assault/Mental Health- Hospital called about an individual being assaulted by their spouse that has been diagnosed with dementia, and it appears to be worsening.
