Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 9/26/2025
DISTURBANCE-Called in by a neighbor - RP advised that they hear two individuals arguing then heard what sounded like a gunshot. Officers contacted the individuals who were arguing, and one had slammed their hand on a table.
FMFR TOW-Officers initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle had no insurance. Officer had the vehicle towed.
WARRANT SERVICE-Traffic stop made - Contact made with driver and odor of Marijuana was detected. Driver and Passenger removed from vehicle for PC search. Officers identified the passenger who had outstanding warrants, the passenger was arrested without incident.

BUSINESS ALARM-Alarm showed interior motion. Officers arrive to find cleaning crew performing the duties they are authorized to do.
MISSING PERSON RECOVERY-Individual listed as a missing person - Officers located and contact was made. The individual was fine and stated they were making deliveries yesterday. After work, the individual put their phones on DO NOT DISTURB.
THEFT-Two individuals attempted to push out meat and other items from the store without paying. One wisely abandoned their cart inside before a push out occurred, but the other did not - arrested on a class B theft for more than $200 worth of items.
WARRANT SERVICE-Individual was found to be at location, assisted SCSO on their warrant.
SUSP PERSON/PDP-Solicitors got into a verbal altercation with a resident, the person and vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana. PC search of the vehicle rendered a very small amount of marijuana - PDP ticket issued.
WARRANT SERVICE-Traffic stop resulted in warrant service without incident.
