Weekly Brief – Week ending 08/15/2025

PUBLIC SERVICE/CIVIL-RP came to the PD to ask that an officer accompany them to their residence as it appears that someone has tampered with the locks on the house.

WARRANT SERVICE-Individual turned themselves into the PD for a warrant issued by LPD.

ASSIST SCSO-SCSO called for assistance with an active shooter at this location with reports of one person being shot in the leg.

THEFT-AP called advising that 2 people were in the AP’s office after being caught shoplifting. Both were CT’ed from the location and one was arrested for Theft of Prop.

UNLAWFUL DUMPING-Property manager called advising that someone had come into the complex and dumped trash into the dumpster and left.  

FMFR SHOW IT OR TOW IT-Traffic stop – The vehicle had no lights on and no insurance. Driver admitted no insurance.

ASSIST SCSO-SCSO called requesting assistance with one of their deputies on an attempted suicide.

THEFT-AP called advising they have 2 detained in the AP office that pushed $967.96 worth of merchandise without attempting to pay. 

CT-AP called to have individual CT’ed from location.

Disturbance-RP called about a verbal disturbance between family that was staying at the house. People were intoxicated and causing issues and one made suicidal comments.
