Lindale Police Weekly Brief – Week Ending 4/11/2025

ACCIDENT-Individual mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal, creating an exterior entrance into the men’s bathroom. No injuries.

ASSIST ANIMAL CONTROL-RP called animal control in reference to dogs whimpering and barking in the woods. RP advised that it appears the campers have animals now.

Animal Control gave subjects 24 hrs for them to provide adequate necessities.

ABANDONED VEHICLE-A vehicle parked on the side of the road unoccupied and been there for a couple of days.

An officer placed a tag on it to have it towed or moved.

FOUND PROPERTY-RP brought an ATM card to the PD that she found on the ground beside of the ATM.

SUSPICIOUS/ABANDONED VEHICLE-A vehicle was parked in the roadway. The vehicle was unsecured and full of clothing and miscellaneous household items. A tow truck was called to remove it. The RO showed up, got the vehicle started and left.
