Weekly Brief – Week Ending 12/13/2024

PUBLIC SERVICE-RP called advising that he is the owner of the home, and no one has lived in it for about a month. When RP arrived, he found several sleeping bags inside the living room and the front door locked. RP wants officers to clear the home before he makes entry. 

WELFARE CHECK-RP is Sheriff’s Office, wanting to check the welfare of an individual – the individual was reported missing to County by her mother and County located the person she was supposedly staying with. 

WM – THEFT-RP stated he checked out and asked for $100 in cash back but forgot to take the money.

DWI–stopped a vehicle for traffic violation and driving behavior. Driver had been drinking. Subj was arrested. 

DIST-Officers were flagged down about an assault that occurred. When contact was made with possible actor, it was learned that he hit someone with a pillowcase. No charges were filed. Parties separated.

IMPEDING ROAD-Individual is stopping a vehicle in the road not allowing them to pass and then claiming the people are harassing them. Was informed they would be arrested if they did it again.

STOLEN VEH–hit on a stolen trailer. Reported to Dallas PD in October. Seized the trailer and identified the driver.
